Gretchen Bleiler is said to be one of the most accomplished female snowboarders in the world. Gretchen aspired to compete in the Olympic Games from a very young age, and found her passion in snowboarding at age 11 (1992). She has been riding ever since, became professional in 1996 and is currently recognized as a role model and pioneer in the sport. Among her accomplishments, Gretchen jump-started the invert revolution for female riders as the first to land a Crippler 540 in competition, and won more halfpipe competitions in 2003, 2005 and 2006 than any other female snowboarder. In the pre Olympic season she won four of the five US Olympic halfpipe qualifiers and is also a three time X Games gold medalist, Ad aired during Winter X Games Thirteen. 01/09.

Shaun White won gold at Winter X Games Thirteen in Men's Slopestyle Snowboard and again in Men's Snowboard Superpipe. This is White’s third gold medal in the Superpipe, 7th gold overall, and 14th ESPN X Games medal. He wasn’t the only one to win his 7th gold at the X Games, though. Tanner Hall took his 7th gold in the Ski Superpipe Finals on Thursday, setting the record until White tied it on Sunday. Ad aired during Winter X Games Thirteen. 01/09.

Simon has been on skis since he was three. He first became recognized at the X Games when he was fifteen. At seventeen, he won his first gold medals. On April 11, 2008 Simon Dumont set the current world QP height record at Sunday River in Bethel, Maine. He aired 35.5 feet out of a 38-foot QP, while performing a cork 900 tail grab. Tanner Hall took his 7th X Games gold in the Ski Superpipe Finals at Winter X Games Thirteen on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009. The victory set the record for Winter X gold until Shaun White tied it 3 days later. Ad aired during the games.
