Woodstock was held at Max Yasgur's 600 acre dairy farm in the rural town of Bethel, New York from August 15th through August 18th, 1969; "Three Days of Peace And Music" that featured Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Who, Santana, Joe Cocker, CSNY, Ritchie Havens, Arlo Guthrie, Ravi Shankar, The Grateful Dead, Mountain, Canned Heat, CCR, Sly And The Family Stone, Joan Baez, Jefferson Airplane, The Band, Ten Years After, Johnny and Edgar Winter and many others.
