Sprinter and long jumper Carl Lewis topped the world rankings in the 100 m, 200 m and long jump events and won 10 Olympic medals including 9 golds, and 10 World Championships medals, of which 8 were golds, in a career that spanned from 1979 to 1996. The Fosbury Flop was popularized and perfected by American athlete Dick Fosbury whose gold medal in the 1968 Summer Olympics brought it to the world's attention. Over the next few years the flop became the dominant style of the high jump. Fosbury is now a practicing civil engineer in Ketchum, Idaho. His technique was named by a reporter. Gail Devers is a three-time Olympic Gold Medal Winner, winning the 100 Meter Sprint in both the 1992 and 1996 Olympics and winning as a team member in the 4x100 Meter Relay in 1996. Ad aired during the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in August 2008.
