The Jets defeated the Colts 17-16 to advance to face the New England Patriots in an AFC semifinal game on Sunday, January 16th. The wildcard Jets beat the AFC East division champ Patriots 28-21 and moved on to the AFC Championship game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on January 23rd.
